Fender Jazz Bass, Dot-neck, Oval keys, , proto-type Hipshot
D-tuner,Seymour Duncan Quarter- Pounder Pickups(1980),Fender
Special Bridge(1980), Tortiseshell pickguard. My
Jazz had some issues that comes with time and since it's a
special bass to me I retired it several yrs ago. On a stop
by Lakland one day I mentioned to Carl that I would love to
have him look at it and see if it could be helped. Well a
long story short, Carl said "no problem", took my
bass and several months later it was ready. It just so happened
I picked it up when we went to the 10th anni. of Lakland.
I had forgotten how much I love playing this bass!!!!! It
turned out better than my wildest dreams. Dan even used it
during an interview showing a well worn Jazz Bass. Again I
can't say enough about the crew at Lakland!!! |

My 66 Jazz. It has been with me a long time.
As you can see it was my main bass for yrs.I got it in 1969,
it was stolen in '72 and I got it back in 1976. It was white,
when I got it back had been stripped. Only things original
when I got it back were the neck,body, pkups,electronics,
bridge and keys.The pickguard was missing along with the finish. |
