This is a little Tele copy I got to use in my home studio. When I first got it, it had a bad BUZZZZ. The pickups were cheap along with the electronics . Plus being single-coils didn't help any. I thought about several pickup comb and finally ended with a set of EMGS from Ebay. It was a complete system with all the electronics. So I shielded it good then installed the electronics. I put on a tortoise-shell pickguard( I have a thing for tortoise-shell). It played pretty good to begin with but now it sounds great too.
